My approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Motivational Interviewing, attachment-based, family therapy, and expressive and play-based approaches. These therapies help children and youth develop insight, emotional regulation, coping skills, confidence, and stronger relationships, while helping parents feel more empowered and connected to their children.
I hold graduate training in counselling psychology, psychology, and interprofessional mental health and addictions. This foundation allows me to integrate current evidence with compassionate, relationship-focused care.
